Horse assisted Coaching

What does Horse assisted Coaching mean?

As a Licensed Lucero Consulting Coach I feel horse assisted Coaching is one of the most effective and sustainable approaches of my coaching avtivities. What makes it so special is the fascinating emotional depth in a comparable short amount of time which can lead to significant, life-changing knowledge. Where words are only grasped cognitively, working with a horse lets you feel so much deeper. True understanding of internal processes arises only by the connection of feeling through experience. You have the opportunity to try out new things in a protected environment and to feel what it is like to act from the inside out.

Why do I do coaching with horses?

Horses have the wonderful ability that they can only understand authentic behaviour. Thus the horse reflects your actions and your emotions like a mirror. By experiencing a reaction or no reaction of the horse you are enabled to see when your behaviour ist authentic, when your actions are based on paterns, strategies and roles and what the difference feels like. I accompany your individual cognitive process with questions that lead to more clarity about yourself and precisely these patterns, strategies and roles.

It is possible to recognize and let got of habits and self-imposed limitations which are no longer conductive for your personal development. Space can emerge to find new ways and to discover hidden potential.

“Coaching Insight”

In a personal preliminary conversation, we clarify your expectations, goals and wishes for the coaching. The coaching usually takes place in a stable in the area of Mannheim/Heidelberg/Sinsheim.There we meet in a seminar room for a theoretical part that introduces you to the psychological model and approach of horse-assisted coaching. After a first part of interacting with the horse, you have time to reflect on what you have experienced and write down questions in the workbook developed by Lucero Consulting. After answering the questions in the workbook, you will interact with the horse a second time. Afterwards we summarize everything back in the room and close the day.

Important to know: It is not necessary to have any kind of experience in dealing with horses.

In order to guarantee individual support for a group with more than 5 participants, I work with two other coaches. My colleagues Janine Morrison (founder and managing director of Lucero Consulting) and Kay Lendermann („Cody Consulting“, LLCC) are available for this.

You have your own horse and would like to conduct the coaching on site with it? Please do not hesitate to approach me about it.

Follow Up- Coaching

If we have recognized basic patterns in coaching and experienced the difference between role and the real self, change processes are initiated.

These can be inner developments, such as a more coherent self-image, greater self-confidence or more serenity. Or these developments can be connected with directly visible effects, such as a change of job or place of residence.

Every change you make has an impact on your environment. This is where follow-up coaching begins. Who really knows who he is and what he wants, will also radiate this in everyday life, which can lead to life being more trustworthy and offering more opportunities for development. Of course, this can also be challenging. In follow-up coaching, we look at what has happened in the time since the first coaching and I accompany you in taking the next step on your way and mastering upcoming challenges.
